We at TBK were happy to participate in the online protest of SOPA and PIPA that would have essentially given the government the ability to legally shut down a website without due process under the guise of copyright infringement. A congratulations goes out to everyone that participated in the protest and a sigh of relief can be breathe by those concerned as this proposed legislation has now been pulled. However, it’s not over in the long haul because just this week the government did the very thing this law proposes. So while the government has backed off for now on this legislation, there are still not done pushing this issue.
