About

What Is Take Back Kentucky?

Take Back Kentucky is a coalition of organizations that have come together on the issues of today. We disagree on many but have agreed to work together on several.

By coming together as a coalition we will have a greater voice in the efforts of preserving our God given freedoms. Freedoms that millions of Americans have shed their blood around the world for. This blood should not have been shed in vain.

Why Is Take Back Kentucky Needed?

Individuals and small organizations are often lost and/or not heard in today’s fast paced regulatory and/or legislative world. By networking (coming together) with each other our voices of concern will be amplified.

By coming together we can pool our resources, share legislative contacts, share information, form common goals, objectives and strategies with greater chances of being successful in the quest to achieve our goals.

By working together we can become a force in the election process as well as the legislative.

How Can Different Organizations Come Together As One?

* The Take Back Kentucky individuals and groups have agreed on the following as guidelines:
* Each group will remain as an independent organization and function as always.
* No organization is required to participate on an issue that it does not wish to.
* Each organization shares information on the issue of its concern thus helping everyone to be better informed.
* Each group has agreed to work together on the issues we agree on.
* We have agreed to leave each other alone when issues arise that we disagree on. Each group retains its right to work on its own issues as it sees fits.

How Are Officers Chosen?

We have no officers. We will have an individual to moderate the meetings.  We also have a treasurer.

What Does Take Back Kentucky Stand For?

We believe in freedom as intended by the founders of this nation. We are working not only to preserve today’s freedoms but to reinstate those that have been lost.

We are working to have the intended separation of powers between the federal and the state governments reinstated as was intended by the Founding Fathers.

We are working to protect the rights of property owners. We are finding that our private property rights are being threatened not only by zoning but by environmental extremists and their agendas. Our property rights are being infringed upon by treaties, agreements and executive orders. These things must be stopped.

Our children are falling behind the rest of the world in educational skills. We are working to reinstate programs that are proven while eliminating those experimental learning techniques that don’t work. Our children are our future and they deserve the best we can offer and not the present social engineering of public education.

Our society has become plagued with total moral corruption. We are working to bring people together to have a voice in correcting this. The concept of separation of church and state was not the intent of the highly moral founders of this nation. Their intent was only that no religion would be state sponsored. they were firm in their belief of freedom of religion and the right to worship our Creator.

We are working on the right to keep and bear arms as intended. The reasons for the Second Amendment are unfortunately becoming more and more clear.

Last but not least we are working to guarantee and restore the promises made to our veterans and POW-MIA’s.

Our Mission

Our mission is to preserve the God given rights that are recognized in the constitutions of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the United States of America.  We believe in the American principle of dual sovereignty and that preservation of Kentucky’s sovereignty is essential.

The US Supreme Court has ruled that the States are not an extension or branch of the Federal government and that it is the duty of those States to protect the rights of their Citizens. The Federal government is a result of the States creating and ratifying a Constitution, and is therefore an agent of the States. Our focus is to reestablish the government of the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a protector of the Citizens of Kentucky from an overreaching Federal government.

In order to for Kentucky’s government to act responsibly in its duties to its Citizens we feel it is crucial that Citizens exercise their civic duties and responsibilities. We are committed to education on the issues and involvement in the governmental process. Focusing on legislation and the voting records is essential in holding our elected officials accountable.  So we encourage involvement in the election process.

To accomplish this mission we must build coalitions of like minded individuals and organizations that are rooted in Liberty, Freedom, the Constitution, and Capitalistic ideals. The motto of the Commonwealth of Kentucky is “United We Stand, Divided We Fall.” Let us not fall but move forward toward restoration of our founding principles to provide a better future for our posterity.
